With COVID-19 sweeping the globe, our economy is taking a huge knock. The financial implications of this crisis has affected so many and for some it’s hit too close to home.
The reality is the disadvantaged and vulnerable are the hardest hit and this could devastate entire families.
Our mission is to help curb the spread but there is more that we can do if we do it together. That’s why we have partnered with Boost Africa Foundation, who are helping the families in the Dunoon Township with much needed COVID-19 Survival Boxes. These contain essential items such as non perishable food, medicine (pain/fever/flu), books and resources for children. They are also handing out free masks made by the Sewing Centre in their community. For every face mask sold, we are donating R5 to Boost Africa Foundation. This money will go towards their COVID-19 survival boxes as well as fabric costs to make their masks.
